“The family is the original cell of social life…authority, stability, and a life of relationships within the family constitute the foundations for freedom, security, and fraternity within society. The family is the community in which, from childhood, one can learn moral values, begin to honor God, and make good use of freedom. Family life is an initiation into life in society.”[1]
Inspired by our Faith’s understanding of family and society, the ministries and various outreach endeavors of St. Edward Church are ordered towards building up the family of God within our local community by fostering loving relationships and a supportive environment. Since these ministries touch upon the broad range of age and experience among peoples, we may justifiably speak of them as Family Life ministries.
Here you will find many of the various ministry opportunities offered at St. Edward Church that seek to encourage and build-up the faithful in whatever age or walk of life they find themselves.
