Founding Vision, Antonella Cappuccio, c. ?
In 1882, Father Michael J. McGivney officially chartered the Knights of Columbus as a fraternal benefit society. The order is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity, and fraternity as the world’s foremost Catholic fraternal benefit society. Knights of Columbus are Catholic men, 18 years of age and older, who are committed to making their community a better place, foremost by supporting their local church and growing in their own faith.
The Knights of Columbus offer various service opportunities for men in the parish, not limited to but including: Mother’s Day Brunch, Monthly Community Pasta Nights, Oktoberfest celebrations, Lenten Fish Fries, the Annual Parish Picnic, the Annual Golf Outing, college bound scholarships, Veterans appreciation Mass and reception, Mass registration and reception during the duration of the COVID pandemic, and the Keep Christ in Christmas Poster contest.
